Core System & Application ParameterizationWhile it is certainly true that Temenos T24™ is
highly parameterized and therefore, logically, should
be able to handle a wide range of changes to product features,
limits, accounting, etc. both during and after the implementation
- there are some limitations.
The core system parameters like accounting (CRF) and Limits form the foundation of what is to follow. If they are not set up strategically initially, a simple but important oversight or user-requested change may require a lot of time and effort to re-work the core and application parameters (as well as enquiries, reports, etc.). In situations like this, the implementation may never recover.
Don't have too much Securities module expertise but need to set up taxation or corporate actions? Want to know the best way to set up the Forex module to properly reflect dealer desk profitability (with correct revaluation methods for swap arbitrage deals)? Interface Development
Temenos T24™ has many built-in interface utilities
that allow your Temenos T24™ system to interface
with other systems. Many of these utilities are flexible
enough and highly parameterized for technical users to
customize and operate. However, your technical users may
need to develop Universe programs to generate specific
files, run FTP and other network utilities for manipulating
and transferring files, manage uniVerse files, setup Temenos
T24™ parameters, etc.

other interfaces for many banks around the world.
